2016 got to a great start with an invitation to contribute to this amazing kaupapa, one of which I hadnt heard of before but was soon to become a great fan of.

Kiwi Consciousness: Contemporary Artists from New Zealand is one of the latest in a long list of participating countries that have taken part in showcasing art from a wide range of ages, lifestyles and locations.

Imago Mundi is an initiative set up by Luciano Benetton who comissions artists from each country involved in an attempt to showcase under-represented artists to a global scale. One of the unique factors to this project is the specifics involved, namely being that each artist is supplied with a canvas that is exactly 10x12cm in size to produce an artwork of the artists choosing, and where it will be on display in an exhibition in Italy as well as a publication.

I am super proud to be involved in something so fresh and unique and cant wait to see where this project evolves.
