Viking MMA is a family orientated Mixed Martial Arts Gym based on the Central Coast of New South Wales Australia in a small fishing town called Gwandalan.

 

Viking MMA was founded by Wayne Cummins and Shay Shortland.

 

Wayne is a MMA Fighter and Trainer who is forging a career in Mixed Martial Arts, and has recently taken part in his first Grappling Industries Jiu-jitsu tournament as well as having competed at the March 13 Urban Fight Night 6 in Sydney, Australia where he became victor of his first major fight.

 

Shay is a Trainer, Book keeper, Photographer and major support for Wayne and the team at Viking MMA.

 

Viking MMA was created upon the realisation that there were no JJiu-jitsu schools in the local area and saw a need to share the knowledge and experience the team at Viking MMA have learnt since embarking on their own journey.

 

Wayne and Shay hope to be able to help others realise their own confidence and to light the fire within oneself to be able to have the strength to succeed. Viking MMA has a gym which caters to MMA training, Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, Boxing, Kick Boxing, Health and Fitness classes, Women Empowerment classes as well as Bullyproof programmes for children.
